Have passed over several Pacific coastal heads– great promontories with rivers on each side, emptying into the Ocean. This one, I believe, was Heceta Head.

Gorgeous!! Had a little update from Will today, glad he will be joining up with you soon. I’m even more glad your knees are holding up. I am so inspired and a little bit jealous though I don’t think I have the umph in me to take such an ambitious trip. I’m a little too comfort-loving I’m afraid. But I’ve been riding my bike all over BI even in the heat.
I am sure you are having great mom-daughter conversations, unless you’re too tired at the end of the ride!
