A missed train, a 120 mile car ride, 50+ miles riding steep ridges, and then a flat tire 10 miles from Astoria. Flagged a pickup truck, rode in the back with all our stuff. Josie scared sh–tless wearing her bike helmet! At the hostel, a fellow bicyclist helps repair the flat. What a day!!
